| MY EXPERIENCE IN NEW YORK |

If you follow me on Instagram you know that one of my most recent trips was to The Big Apple. I’m so obsessed and in love with this city. The architecture, the bagels and obviously the fashion! You can never get tired of New York because there is just so much to do and see. I went two times this year. The purpose of the first trip we made back in November was because we wanted to surprise my sister and my family from New York to spend Thanksgiving and celebrate my birthday (fact: I was born on Thanksgiving Day). The second time we went back on February was because my cousin was going to model at the Gotham Hall for New York Fashion Week and as a fashion influencer I obviously needed to witness NYFW. It’s been one of those things I had in my bucket list for a really long time and I’m hoping to be going to more fashion shows in the future.

Previous to this trip, the last time I went to New York was about 8 years ago so coming back to this city was like a new experience for me. I didn't remember a lot of things from that last trip so I made a list of all the places I wanted to see and visit. When it comes to touring and visiting new places I'm always the tour guide lol! We went from the Upper East Side of Manhattan to the West Side of NY, that day we walked about 80 blocks (yes people walked). You don't even realize you're walking that much and for such a long time because like I previously mentioned there is just so much to do and see. And you can't never do all that walking without eating. In NY there are lots of places to eat but I was most excited about bagels and pizza places (if you went to NY and you didn't try a bagel or pizza, you didn't go to NY). My favorite bagel and pizza place were in Queens but if you're looking for fine dining and authentic Italian cuisine you should go to Little Italy. It's a neighborhood in lower Manhattan right next to Chinatown. You will find plenty of stores and Italian restaurants.

I got to do a lot of walking like a true Newyorker and visit lots of places but here are my top 10. These are my favorite and the most popular attractions. If you are planning to go to NYC on your next trip I would definitely recommend you check out these places.

On to the next adventure!

From top to bottom:

1. The Metropolitan Museum of Art

2. National September 11 Memorial Museum

3. Brooklyn Bridge

4. Times Square

5. Little Italy

6. Madison Square Garden

7. Top of the Rock

8. The Statue of Liberty

9. Central Park

10. Grand Central Terminal
